Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December 8, 2011 <br />Page 12of 13 <br />Dillon road and McCaslin Boulevardto provide connectivity into Boulder County. He <br />also stated the need for additional Wayfinding in the City. <br />Dan Johnson, 429 Meadow Vice, Erie encouraged the City to consider additional <br />tennis courts within the City. <br />Summary Comments and Request from Staff: <br />None heard. <br />Lipton moved and O’Connell seconded a motion to continue Resolution No. 30, <br />Series 2011 to the January 12, 2012 Planning Commission public hearing. Motion <br />passed by unanimous voice vote. <br />Planning Commission Comments: <br />Lipton thanked Sheets for her seven (7) years of service on the Planning <br />Commission. <br />Sheets replied that it had been an honor to serve on the Planning Commission. <br />Staff Comments <br />Administrative Review – 726 Front Street – New Cingular Wireless Russ <br />reviewed the above staff comments. <br />McCartney gave a brief review of the New Cingular Wireless. Planning Commission <br />had no questions or comments. <br />Russ also thankedSheets for her service. <br />Russ reminded the Commissioners of the December 13, 2011 joint study session <br />regarding the second discussion of the Comp Plan Update with City Council. <br />The following items are scheduled for January 12, 2012. <br />tentatively <br />Loftus Development, Inc. (Jim Loftus – Safeway Redeveloment); a request <br />for a preliminary planned unit development (PUD) plan and a special review <br />use (SRU) to allow for the redevelopment of the former Safety site into a <br />mixed use community consisting of two (2) retail buildings around a <br />pedestrian plaza and three (3) residential buildings on the remainder of the <br />site. Case No. 11-024-PP/UR. <br />Applicant:Loftus Development, Inc.
