Louisville SustainabilityAdvisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes:Wednesday, April 18, 2012 <br />City Hall,749 Main Street, Spruce Room <br />I.Call to Order:The meeting was called to order by Chair Ted Sontropat 6:32pm. <br />Minutes taken by Annie Hughes. <br />II.Roll Call:Members present (in bold):Cullen Choi,Mary Ann Heaney,Annie <br />Hughes, Andy Johnson,Robyn McGuckin,Mark Persichetti;Ted Sontrop;Staff <br />LiaisonDave Szabados;City Council LiaisonEmily Jasiak.Guest: Abel Chavezfrom <br />CU Denver. <br />III.Approval of Current-Meeting’s Agenda:The agenda was approved as is. <br />IV. Approval of MarchMeeting Minutes:The minutes wereapproved. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda:No membersof the public were <br />present. <br />VI. Presentation: CU-Denver Greenhouse Gas Study <br />Abel Chavez, CU PhD student, provided a presentation on CU’s program, “Trans- <br />boundary Carbon Emission Footprints and A Framework for Sustainable Urban <br />Infrastructure Systems.” <br />20 Colorado cities have adopted this program and Delhi, India and Shanghai, China are <br />also considering adopting it. <br />Program consists of two parts: <br />A–The study, which will take approximately 2-5 months to gather <br />o <br />information and complete. <br />B–Implementation ofactions based onfindings from the study. <br />o <br />Out of Pocket Cost (study only) = approximately $12,000 <br />City staff requirements = 1 person providing between 4 and 40 hours of work per <br />week.Communities can determine how much staff time they want to devote to <br />the project.
