2 'inherited' factors, is that the people who live here really care about having a great community, and that is the real source of all the great things we experience here! | By Ted S Comment 3: My wife and I moved here more out of necessity than desire...Boulder was too expensive. Now that we have a daughter and have lived in town for a few years, there's many reasons I'd rather live in Louisville than Boulder. Primary among them is the sense of community I feel with all the other young families in my neighborhood (and those my wife met through a prenatal yoga class downtown). Point being that the more people experience what Louisville has to offer, the more desirable community it becomes. | By Drew B Comment 4: Just today I was talking to a young man who was envious that we lived in Louisville. He said that would be his favorite place to live. He asked how long we'd lived here. When we said 20 years, he sighed and said "sure, you were lucky. You got there when people could actually afford to live there." The reason I don't choose the highest level of satisfaction is that I feel many decisions made, especially in land use, the area that the comp plan has the most to say about, are rapidly making Louisville lose it's true character, which is very egalitarian.
