4
oSafe
I think Small Town says some of that, but it brings along baggage of too many other things. |
By Andy J
Comment 4: This should include our historic resources | By Bob M
Idea Title: Integrated Open Space and Trail Networks
Idea Detail: I think integrated open space and trail networks are some of Louisville's core
community values.
Idea Author: Katie C
Number of Seconds 9
Number of Comments 3
Comment 1: I sit on the board of the Boulder Area Trails Coalition and one thing that is so
refreshing about working with cities like Louisville is that they keep a focus on trails as a whole
rather than getting into the weeds with user conflicts (bikes, dogs, etc.). I would encourage
Louisville to keep this mentality going forward. I think that the main knock against Louisville at
this point is finding ways to take the trails across major roads such as McCaslin (at Davidson
Mesa / Harper Lake), South Boulder Rd. (getting from the train track trail system on the north
side of the road to old town), etc. Trails are one of the best ways to expose all that open space
has to offer to residents and I hope that we can keep progressing in the development of trail
connections. | By David B
Comment 2: Open space is critical as an environmental and recreational resource | By Tom D
Comment 3: I could not agree more. great point! | By Aaron C
Idea Title: Parks and Recreational Facilities that support Active Lifestyles
Idea Detail: I think parks and recreational facilities that support active lifestyles are some of
Louisville's core community values.
Idea Author: Katie C
Number of Seconds 9
Number of Comments 1
