Hearing none, Davidson closed the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Keany noted that the 2% increase is less than the rate of inflation. <br /> <br />Mayer noted that the City will be eliminating the assessment fees, thereby decreasing the <br />base rate. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayer moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1349, Series 2000, <br />seconded by Brown. Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 5-0. <br />Absent: Howard, Sisk excused. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1350 SERIES 2000 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TABLE <br />NO. 1-A -BUILDING PERMIT FEES IN SECTION 15.04.030 OF THE <br />LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE - 2ua reading - public hearing (advertised Daily <br />Camera 11/12/2000) <br /> <br />Davidson called for City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1350, Series 2000. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Planning Director Dianne Ray explained that the current building permit fees were set in <br />1997, using the 1994 Uniform Building Code table. This ordinance will change the table <br />to the table established in the 1997 Uniform Building Code, which will adjust fees by <br />approximately 11.5%.
