<br />RESOLUTION NO. 38 <br />SERIES 1996 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROPERTY PURCHASE AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE AND BOULDER COUNTY, <br />INCLUDING IN CONNECTION THEREWITH THE GRANTING OF <br />RECIPROCAL CONSERVATION EASEMENTS AND THE PURCHASE OF <br />CERTAIN WATER RIGHTS, CONCERNING PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE <br />ADMOR PROPERTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Boulder County ("County") has purchased fee title to <br />certain property known as the Admor Property generally described as <br />the North 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 20, Township 1 South, <br />Range 69 West of the 6th P.M., Boulder County, Colorado, totaling <br />approximately 80 acresi and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville ("City" or "Louisville") <br />desires to purchase from the County, and the County desires to sell <br />to Louisville for open space purposes, upon the terms and <br />conditions described in the Purchase Agreement, an undivided one- <br />half interest in the eastern portion of the Admor Property (the <br />"East Parcel"), to be held by the parties as tenants in common and <br />pursuant to reciprocal conservation easements in gross between <br />Louisville and the CountYi and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County will convey the undivided one-half <br />interest and conservation easement in the East Parcel to Louisville <br />and enter into the Purchase Agreement only upon the condition, as <br />set forth in the Purchase Agreement, that Louisville purchase the <br />County'S entire fee interest to the Western portion of the Admor <br />Property (the "West Parcel") i and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Louisville, in order to obtain a one-half interest in <br />the East Parcel for open space purposes and the grant of reciprocal <br />conservation easements, is willing and able to purchase fee title <br />from the County in the West Parceli and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council believes it is in the best interests <br />of the City to annex to Louisville the West Parcel for the purpose <br />of limiting the annexation by other municipalities of land near the <br />West parceli and <br /> <br />1 <br />
