Date: May 29, 2012 <br />To: Louisville Housing Authority (LHA) <br />From: Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA) and City Staff <br />Subject: LHA Representation <br />Chairperson Terri Abbot, LHA Board Member Colleen Vandendriessch <br />Development Director Aaron DeJong, Louisville Deputy City Manage <br />Attorney Sam Light recently interviewed three attorneys/firms toresent the LHA interests during <br />consolidation and IGA drafting. This was in addition to also recounsel by Rod <br />Falzien, who has represented the LHA in the past, most recently <br /> <br />The LHA and City working group, based on the firms recent experience with housing authorities, public <br />housing issues, and tax credit partnerships recommend the firm of Wagenlander and Heisterkamp. <br />Amber Hunter will be the principle contact for the firm. Inform <br />engagement letter with a fee proposal are attached for review and consi <br />reviewed a list of attorneys and financial institutions that BCHA has worked with to ensure there are no <br />conflicts or appearance of conflicts. <br />The LHA and City working group, request the LHA Board by motion approve the engagement of <br />Wagenlander and Heisterkamp and authorize the Chair to execute the attached engagement letter. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
