Louisville City Council Meeting <br />December 19, 2000 <br />Page 4. <br /> <br />Sisk called for Staff presentation, <br /> <br />Finance Director Dianne Ray reviewed Resolution 72, Series 2000. She stated that the <br />Cemetery, Parking Improvement, Conservation Trust-Land Acquisition, Water Utility, <br />Coal Creek Golf Course, and Self Insurance Funds are all projected to exceed the <br />appropriations for 2000. Ray reviewed a table, which provided the explanations for each <br />fund: <br /> <br />Fund: Amount: <br />Cemetery $5,000 <br />Parking Improvement 150,000 <br />Conservation Trust- <br />Land Acquisition 125,833 <br />Water Utility 950,000 <br />Coal Creek Golf Course 65,000 <br />Self Insurance 6,000 <br /> <br />Explanation: <br />Additional interest to transfer to Gen Fund <br />Land purchase for future parking facilities <br /> <br />Land purchase for open space <br />Water rights <br />Golf Course expenses, revenue will offset <br />Additional self-insurance dental claims <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Keany asked Finance Director Ray if the cemetery fund cited is the Cemetery Perpetual <br />Care Fund. Ray stated that it is the Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund, but only the interest <br />is transferred to the General Fund to cover routine maintenance expenses. The principal <br />remains in the Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund. <br /> <br />Sisk asked Ray about the Coal Creek Golf Course Fund, which shows that $65,000 will <br />be transferred. He asked if revenues are projected to exceed $65,000. Ray stated that <br />revenues are expected to exceed the appropriated amount by over $65,000. <br /> <br />MOTION: Howard moved that Council approve Resolution No. 72, Series 2000, <br />seconded by Keany. Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 6-0. <br />Absent: Davidson - excused. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1353, SERIES 2000, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION <br />7 OF THE LOUISVILLE COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT DESIGN <br />STANDARDS PERTAINING TO COMMERCIAL RETAIL AND OFFICE SIGN <br />STANDARDS GUIDELINES - 2na reading - public hearing (advertised Daily <br />Camera 11/12/00) <br /> <br />Sisk called for City Attorney presentation. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
