recommended the City Council approve the amendments to the Louisville Municipal Code set <br /> forth in this ordinance; and <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed the recommendation of the Louisville Planning <br /> Commission, and desires to amend the Louisville Municipal Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has provided notice of a public hearing on said ordinance by <br /> publication as provided by law and held a public hearing as provided in said notice; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section 1. Subsection C of Section 17.16.030 of the Louisville Municipal Code is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows (words to be deleted are shown in strikeout; words to be <br /> added are underlined): <br /> Sec. 17.16.030.C. Accessory uses <br /> The minimum rear yard setback from a rear lot line for accessory structures shall <br /> be ten feet. No part of an accessory building (including eaves and overhangs) <br /> shall be located any closer than ten five feet to any principal structure, either on <br /> the same lot or an adjacent lot, in residential zone districts. No part of an <br /> accessory building (including eaves and overhangs) shall be located any closer <br /> than ten feet to any principal structure, either on the same lot or an adjacent lot, in <br /> non-residential zone districts. <br /> Section 2. Section 17.16.130 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows (words to be deleted are shown in strikeout; words to be added are underlined): <br /> Sec. 17.16.130. Principal buildings on the same lot <br /> No part of a principal building (including eaves and overhangs) shall be located <br /> closer than ten five feet to any other principal building on the same lot in <br /> residential zone districts. No part of a principal building (including eaves and <br /> overhangs) shall be located closer than ten feet to any other principal building on <br /> the same lot in non-residential zone districts. <br /> Section 3. If any portion of this ordinance is held to be invalid for any reason, such <br /> decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council <br /> hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each part hereof irrespective of the <br /> fact that any one part be declared invalid. <br /> Section 4.
