Louisville City Council Meeting
January 16, 2001
Page 15.

CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT

City Attorney Sam Light distributed copies of the lawsuit filed in US District Court by
Qwest Wireless. He noted that the City Clerk has already been served and he anticipated
that the Mayor and Council would be served later in the evening. He noted that the
lawsuit has been turned over to the City's insurer and they are waiting for a response
from them.

Light stated that, with respect to the Public Service Company petition, a public hearing
will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2001, in the City Council Chambers. On the
following day, January 18, 2001, a formal hearing will be held before the Public Utility
Commission.

CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT

None.

COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS

Davidson suggested that PUD's in full compliance of the CDDSG and approved by the
Planning Commission be put on the consent agenda. He stated this would greatly
expedite Council meetings.

Brown reported that he attended a meeting in preparation for the public meeting on the
Highway 42 Corridor Redevelopment Plan scheduled for February I, 2001. He
encouraged the citizens of Louisville to attend and participate in the planning process.

Sisk reminded the Louisville residents that there will be Ward Meetings held at the
Recreation Center on January 30, 2001, followed by a Mayor's meeting.

Keany stated that he will not be attending on the Wednesday night public meeting on the
Public Service application, as he will be representing the City at the DRCOG meeting.
He also noted that he will be out of town and unavailable for the Ward Meetings on
January 30th.

Paul Wood asked for clarification on what PUD's would be put on the consent agenda.
He asked if projects and PUD's for commercial, industrial and commercial retail uses
would be included. Davidson stated that any PUD in full compliance with the CDDSG,
with the exception of Special Review Use applications, would be consent agenda items.

15
