City Council Meeting Minutes November 1, 2005 Page 7 of 8 MOTION: Council member Marsella moved for Council approval of Resolution No. 49, Series 2005, seconded by Council member Clabots. City Attorney Light stated the resolution will be changed to reflect approval rather than recommending approval of a Final Subdivision Replat. VOTE: All in favor. Recused: Mayor Sisk ORDINANCE No. 1480, SERIES 2005 - AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE VACATION OF A 5,028 SQUARE FOOT EASEMENT LOCATED IN THE HEALTH PARK SUBDIVISION FILING No.6 SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE _1st reading - set public hearing 11/15/05 Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1480, Series 2005. MOTION: Council member Marsella moved that Council send out Ordinance No. 1480, Series 2005 for publication and set a public hearing for November 15, 2005, seconded by Council member Brown. All in favor. Recused: Mayor Sisko LIBRARY UPDATE Deputy City Manager Boyd reported on the progress of the new library. The library project is a 14-month project and it is now entering into its ih month. The ramp going down into the parking garage is nearly complete, and on November 1, work began on erecting the steel, which initiates the start of the library exterior. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT City Attorney Light reported a November 22, 2005 date has been set for the court required mediation on the Front Street Right-of-Way. He also reported Council has been given a report relative to Hamon Construction Company. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT City Manager Simmons reported the Staff will conduct interviews for a new Land Management Director next week.
