<br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December 20, 2005 <br />Page 3 of 8 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk recognized Michele Van Pelt for her many contributions to the City of <br />Louisville in her four year tenure. Ms. Van Pelt was unable to attend the meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk recognized Arnie Levihn for his twelve year service and commitment <br />to the City and to the Community Park project. On behalf of the Council, Mayor <br />Sisk presented Levihn with a gift as a token of the City's appreciation. <br /> <br />Arnie Levihn thanked the citizens for the privilege of serving the community. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 53, SERIES 2005 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN <br />AMENDMENT TO THE CENTENNIAL VALLEY GENERAL DEVELOPMENT <br />PLAN AND ASSOCIATED AGREEMENT (7TH AMENDMENT TO THE <br />AMENDED AND RESTATED DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR <br />CENTENNIAL VALLEY CONTINUED FROM 12/06/05) <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Planning Director Paul Wood explained the City Council conducted a public <br />hearing on this application at the December 6, 2005 City Council meeting. Based <br />on the discussion that occurred, the Development Agreement has been revised <br />by the City Attorney's office, with input from Planning Staff and the applicant. <br />The changes in original text were made by the City Attorney's office. The <br />following is a summary of the changes: <br /> <br />1. Automobile sales and service (including freestanding car washes) would NOT <br />be permitted. <br />2. Drive-through restaurants would NOT be permitted, with the exception of <br />drive-through coffee shops, which would be permitted. <br />3. Automobile fueling stations would be allowed when approved as a special <br />review use (SRU), including accessory car washes subject to review and <br />approval through the SRU. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested an Applicant presentation. <br /> <br />Jeffrey G. Sheets, Koelbel and Company, 5291 E. Yale Avenue, Denver, CO <br />addressed the revisions to the plan and voiced the Applicant's approval. He <br />asked for Council consideration of a fueling station under a Special Review Use <br />application. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested public comment. There were no comments. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENT <br /> <br />Council member Marsella commended the City Attorney and Planning Staff for <br />their work on the revisions to the resolution. <br />
