It will be a beer tasting at the Empire Grill. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> No items to report. <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> KLINE ANNEXATION <br /> ORDINANCE No. 1619, SERIES 2012 —AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN <br /> ANNEXATION, KNOWN AS THE KLINE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF <br /> LOUISVILLE, COLORADO —2ND READING AND PUBLIC HEARING <br /> RESOLUTION No. 54, SERIES 2012 — A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN <br /> ANNEXATION AGREEMENT FOR THE KLINE ANNEXATION <br /> ORDINANCE No. 1620, SERIES 2012 — AN ORDINANCE ZONING AS RESIDENTIAL <br /> LOW-DENSITY (RL) CERTAIN PROPERTY ANNEXED INTO THE CITY OF <br /> LOUISVILLE AND KNOWN AS THE KLINE PROPERTY —2ND READING AND <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> Mayor Muckle requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> City Attorney Light read Ordinances 1619 and 1620, Series 2012 and noted Resolution <br /> No. 54, Series 2012 approves an annexation agreement for the Kline annexation. <br /> Mayor Muckle opened the public hearing and requested a staff presentation. <br /> Planner I Robinson explained the three agenda items before Council are; a resolution <br /> approving the Kline Annexation Agreement and two ordinances; one for annexation and <br /> the second for zoning. The applicants are Bob and Karen Kline, owners of 631 Johnson <br /> Street. The Kline's have requested the public land dedication requirements be waived. <br /> The City staff recommended the 15% fee in-lieu of public land dedication. The property <br /> owners have requested a Residential Low (RL) zoning designation. For consistency, <br /> Staff recommended the RL zoning designation. <br /> Planner I Robinson explained the main benefit of annexation is the City having control <br /> over the property, which is currently controlled by Boulder County. Another benefit to <br /> annexing the property is revenue derived from property tax and the annexation fees. <br />
