Water Quality Standards are provisions in State or Tribal law or <br /> regulations that define the water quality goals of a water body, or segment <br /> thereof, by designating the use or uses to be made of the water; setting criteria <br /> necessary to protect the uses; and protecting existing water quality through anti- <br /> degradation policies and implementation procedures. <br /> Section 3. Section 13.36.030 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows (words added are underlined; words deleted are stricken <br /> through): <br /> Sec. 13.36.030. Applicability. <br /> This chapter shall apply to all water entering the storm drainage system <br /> generated on any developed and undeveloped lands unless explicitly exempted by <br /> the director or his designee exempted by this chapter. <br /> Section 4. Section 13.36.060 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows (words added are underlined; words deleted are stricken <br /> through): <br /> Sec. 13.36.060. Illicit discharges prohibited and exemptions. <br /> A. Illicit Discharge Prohibited. No person shall discharge or cause to <br /> be discharged into the MS4 or watercourses any pollutants, including but not <br /> limited to pollutants or waters containing any pollutants that cause or contribute to <br /> a violation of applicable water quality standards, other than stormwater. <br /> Pollutants include but are not limited to, the following: <br /> 1. Chemicals, petroleum products, pPaints, varnishes, and <br /> solvents; oil and grease, cleaning products and other automotive <br /> fluids; pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, or other toxic materials; <br /> non-hazardous liquid;and solid wastes; <br /> 2. Trash, refuse, rubbish, garbage, litter, floatables or other discarded <br /> or abandoned objects or accumulations, which are or may cause or <br /> contribute to pollution; food waste and food service related <br /> cleaning waste from areas such as restaurant alleys and dumpster <br /> areas; <br /> 3. Hazardous substances and wastes; sewage, sewage sludge; <br /> dissolved and particulate metals; animal wastes; <br /> Ordinance No. 1623,Series 2012 <br /> Page 7 of 17 <br />
