TREE BRANCH RECYCLE SITE OPEN AGAIN <br />The Branch Recycling Site is open for 2011. The site, located just to the north <br />of the Louisville Cemetery on Empire Road, is open to Louisville residents the <br />first full weekend of each month. Proof of residency will be checked at the gate by City <br />staff. This site only accepts woody plant material such as tree and shrub debris. For more <br />information, please contact Chris Lichty, City Forester, at 303.335.4733. <br />2011 BRANCH RECYCLE SITE SCHEDULE <br />8AM -4PM <br />May 7 & 8 September 3, 4, & 5 <br />June 4 & 5 <br />July 2, 3, & 4 <br />August 6 & 7 <br />October 1 & 2 <br />November 5 & 6 <br />December 3 & 4 <br />The Branch Recycle Site does not take green waste including grass and leaves. You <br />may take those materials to the City's Waste Water Treatment Plant, 1601 Empire Road. <br />They are open seven days per week, 7:00 AM — 3:30 PM. <br />BIOSOLIDS FOR YOUR YARD <br />B iosolids are residual solids from <br />Wastewater Treatment that <br />contain organic matter as well as benefi- <br />cial levels of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and <br />Potassium. It is an excellent soil amend- <br />ment. Biosolids are mixed with leaves, <br />grass, and/or woodchips supplied by <br />City residents and composted to meet <br />Class A requirements. Biosolids are available at NO <br />cost to Louisville residents and may be picked up at the <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant, 1601 Empire Road, every <br />day from 8:00 AM until 2:30 PM. <br />RECREATIONAL VEHICLE DUMP <br />STATION PERMITS AVAILABLE <br />It is time to renew your RV Dump Station access <br />cards. New cards may be purchased at City Hall, <br />749 Main Street, 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM Monday through <br />Friday. The fee is $20.00 for <br />Louisville residents and $30.00 for <br />non residents per calendar year. All <br />cards expire December 31St annu- <br />ally. For more information. please call 303.335.4500. <br />COMPOST AVAILABLE <br />compost created by Louisville residents through <br />the recycling of kitchen and yard waste is now <br />available. The compost from the Western Disposal <br />Compost Facility is free to Louisville residents while <br />supplies last at the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant, <br />1601 Empire Road, every day from 8:00 AM until 2:30 <br />PM. For more information call 303.335.4783 or visit the <br />Western Disposal web site: wwwwesterndisposal.com/ <br />trash-recycle--center/compost--an d- mulch /. <br />PAVING ON US 36 <br />The Colorado Department of Transportation <br />(CDOT) will begin overlaying portions of U.S. 36 <br />between the Wadsworth inter- <br />change and 88th Street in May. <br />The project should be complete <br />by early September. The roadway <br />condition in this portion of U.S. <br />36 is significantly deteriorated. The G aLTs'rION" <br />last time the pavement in this section was resurfaced was <br />1994 and CDOT has rated the roadway as Poor with a <br />remaining surface life of zero years. <br />Construction will occur at night, one travel lane at <br />a time, and all travel lanes will re -open in the morning. <br />Please use caution during construction. <br />May 2011 <br />
