OPEN% MAY 26
GOLF COURSE IMPROVEMENTS
The City recently completed the Coal Creek Golf
Course Improvement Plan and will I
be implementing several improvements this
summer. The plan provides a framework for
phased improvements at one of Louisville's
most picturesque settings. The par -72 course,
measuring just over 7,000 yards, has a front
set of tees for beginners, youth, and seniors,
back tees that will challenge the most experi-
enced golfer, and tees for in between.
The 2012 course improvements include tree work (trim-
ming, removal, and new planting); complete GIS mapping
of the golf course irrigation system; limited irrigation head
replacement; and an Americans with Disabilities Act assess-
ment of the Clubhouse and the Golf Course.
We encourage you to "friend" the Coal Creek Golf Course
on Facebook, or attend a meeting of the Golf Course Advi-
sory Board. Please visit the www.LouisvilleCO.gov for tee
times, specials, and additional golf course information.
VOLoCITY TEEN VOLUNTEERS
Take the guess work out of providing volunteer oppor-
tunities for your teen this summer. This program, for
teens ages 11 - 15, helps your teen volunteer and gain great
experience. We schedule trips to help local non - profits and
individuals in need. We provide transportation, supervision,
and guidance. Youth participate in an average of six trips over
the summer. To find out more visit www.LouisvilleRecreation.
com or call Mandy Perera at 303.335.4902.
May 2012
