City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> September 4, 2012 <br /> Page 2 of 17 <br /> Alan Sobel, 1408 Kennedy, Louisville, CO continued the filibuster he began on April 6, <br /> 2010, relative to his perception there is collusion between Louisville City Officials, <br /> Comcast Cable Company and GMTC. He would point out examples of this collusion <br /> during the discussion of the GMTC conversion. He stated he would stand in witness to <br /> the practice of Louisville City officials protecting the interests of Comcast and ignoring <br /> the interest of the citizens of Louisville. <br /> Dr. Leslie Dinauer, 537 Manorwood Lane, Louisville, CO spoke on behalf of the Library <br /> Board of Trustees and as a parent of a child with Asperger Syndrome. She presented <br /> copies of a book entitled "the curious incident of the dog in the night-time"to the City <br /> Council. The book is a fictional account of a child with Asperger Syndrome. It was <br /> chosen for the "On The Same Page" reading program, which will be held in Louisville, <br /> Lafayette and Superior. The public is invited to read the book and join the discussion <br /> beginning September 24th at the Louisville Library. <br /> APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA <br /> Mayor Muckle called for changes to the consent agenda and hearing none, moved to <br /> approve the consent agenda, seconded by Council member Loo. All were in favor. <br /> A. Approval of Bills <br /> B. Approval of August 21, 2012 Meeting Minutes <br /> C. Resolution No. 58, Series 2012—A Resolution Approving the Open <br /> Space Advisory Board's Recommendation to Boulder County Parks <br /> and Open Space Regarding 2013 Property and Trail Request <br /> D. Resolution No. 59, Series 2012—A Resolution Approving the Sixth <br /> Amendment to the Fourth Interim Agreement Between the Municipal <br /> Subdistrict, Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District Windy Gap <br /> Firming Project, Water Activity Enterprise, and the City of Louisville <br /> for Participation in the Windy Gap Firming Project <br /> E. Execute Independent Contractor Agreement By and Between the City <br /> of Louisville and Geocal, Inc. for Construction Management Services <br /> for the McCaslin Boulevard and Dillon Road Intersection Project <br /> F. Approve Request to Hold a Special Meeting on October 9 for the <br /> Purpose of Reviewing the Recommended 2013 Budget <br /> COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br /> AGENDA <br /> Mayor Muckle reported reading and enjoying the book "the curious incident of the dog in <br /> the night-time'";the Library is hosting a Technology Exhibition and a number of events, <br /> which include a presentation by the Sierra Nevada Corporation about the Dream <br /> Chaser Shuttle, which is being built in Louisville; a presentation on the James Webb <br /> Space Telescope, given by Ball Aerospace; a Lego event and a science and technology <br /> presentation. He also reported on the success of the 77th Annual Labor Day Parade. <br />
