Authority Report 2011 (cont.) <br />The breakdown for the 56 liquor licenses held in the City of Louisville is as <br />follows: <br />Hotel & Restaurant 33 <br />Beer & Wine 3 <br />3.2% Beer (Off Premises) 5 <br />Retail Liquor Store 6 <br />Tavern 7 <br />Club 2 <br />Suspected liquor code violations continue to be reviewed on an individual basis by the <br />Authority as incidents occur. Several incidents were reviewed and determined to require <br />no further action by the Authority. The Authority continues to encourage license holders <br />to appear before the Authority to discuss questions and concerns either the licensee or <br />the Authority might have and what can be done to avoid problems. <br />The Authority had three Show Cause issues this year. <br />1- 3) Ralphie's: One incident concerned alleged serving to a visibly intoxicated <br />person. The second incident addressed a possible violation by serving to a visibly <br />intoxicated person and conduct of the establishment. The third incident addressed <br />failure to report a disturbance. Kristin Brown was appointed as Special Prosecutor <br />and after investigation, presented stipulations on the cases. The licensee admitted <br />to serving to a visibly intoxicated person on the first two incidents and all other <br />charges were dismissed. They agreed to a total of a 21 day suspension with 11 <br />days held in abeyance for a service of 10 days total suspension. The licensee, with <br />their attorney, asked the Authority to pay a fine -in -lieu.
