City of Louisville <br />Open Speck A Yvls0ry o 0iud <br />Meeting Ming.SgeS <br />May 10, 2006 <br />LoWsv llle Vty Coma Chambers <br />7:00 PM <br />Call to Order — Chairperson Michael Gheleta called the meeting to order at 7:00 <br />pm. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Ted Kowalski, David Waldman, Michael <br />Gheleta, Tom Davinroy, and Kate Lemur <br />Board Members Absent: Brett Harper, John Carron <br />Staff Members Present: Jeff Moline <br />Approval of Agenda — The Board approved the agenda, with the removal of <br />Item IX. <br />Approval of Meeting Minutes — OSAB approved the April meeting minutes, with <br />the exception that Ted Kowalski did not attend the water committee meeting, but <br />rather discussed the meeting with those who attended it. <br />Public Comments — There were no comments from the public. <br />Staff Update: There was a comment that the Resources and Conservation <br />group should be notified about the possibility of the City moving forward on a <br />Coal Creek instream flow water right. <br />Jeff Moline spoke to the Two Four D herbicide article attached to the email from <br />Ty Gee. Jeff has not used this herbicide ever on open space, and uses <br />herbicides as a last resort. Jeff would contact Ty Gee to let him know, and ask <br />him to attend the June Board meeting if he sought further action on this issue. <br />Jeff Moline informed the Board about the Coal Creek cleanup day. It was a huge <br />success. <br />David asked if there was ever an answer back from Lafayette on the letter that <br />we sent them about the North End property.
