0 <br />0 <br />Open Space Advisory Board <br />Minutes <br />DATE <br />Page 2of2 <br />Jeff indicated that on June 3 from 9 to noon there would be a work day on the <br />Aquarius property. <br />Jeff spoke about how at the Davidson -Mesa property there was a new mountain <br />lion sighting. In addition, there will be a trail dedication in June at Davidson - <br />Mesa. <br />Jeff indicated that he had passed our wishes for a new member on to Scott and <br />hopefully the City would take care of that in the near future. <br />CTC Trail - Board members expressed support for the idea of punching a trail <br />over Coal Creek and under the 96th bypass and looped around onto 96th street <br />and then into the CTC. Kathy would be coming back to us after speaking to the <br />CTC and commuters. <br />North Enid - North End update. On May 25, 2006 will be an open space /parks <br />discussion on the North End property with the Planning commission. Jeff <br />indicated that they are proceeding with the engineering necessary to complete <br />trails up to Hecla Lake and to connect to Lafayette trails. Jeff indicated that <br />Markel is exploring purchasing the water rights associated with the lake. Art <br />Phelps expressed support for the trail going around Hecla Lake to the south. <br />Next meeting items - Two four D, if Ty Gee would like it on the agenda. Open <br />space zoning. North End project. Coal Creek instream flow. <br />Adjourn — The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 pm. <br />
