Request for Weekly Trail Runs on Davidson Mesa The City has been asked by a group of runners for permission to host a weekly "fun run" on the Davidson Mesa. The inquiry suggested the group would number up to 30 runners who would complete an "out- and - back" run on the main trail. The Board recommended not approving permission, based primarily on the limited parking available at the trailhead, which is insufficient for 30 runners, and the proposed timing of the run (approx. 6:OOpm) which would be after dark during winter months and in violation of posted closing times.
