Request for Weekly Trail Runs on Davidson Mesa <br />The City has been asked by a group of runners for permission to host a weekly "fun run" <br />on the Davidson Mesa. The inquiry suggested the group would number up to 30 runners <br />who would complete an "out- and - back" run on the main trail. The Board recommended <br />not approving permission, based primarily on the limited parking available at the <br />trailhead, which is insufficient for 30 runners, and the proposed timing of the run <br />(approx. 6:OOpm) which would be after dark during winter months and in violation of <br />posted closing times. <br />Adjournment <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m. <br />Agenda items for the next meeting should include: <br />- Crosswalk/traffic light at Washington & McCaslin <br />- Alternate kiosk designs <br />The next meeting of the Louisville Open Space Citizens Advisory Board will be held on <br />November 15, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Louisville Public Library. <br />• <br />
