• <br />Fishing is Fun pond; <br />No date has been set for when the Davidson Mesa crusher fines portion of the trail <br />will go out to bid. The natural surface trails will be done with City staff / volunteers. <br />Bob Muckle asked what the "final" alignment was for the western portion of the <br />trail. He suggested the Davidson Mesa trails issue should be put on the agenda <br />before the trails are formalized. <br />Jeff Moline mentioned that the City is considering a formal access to the Davidson <br />Mesa on the southwest side of the open space. <br />Jeff Moline mentioned the upcoming volunteer "work days ":.. <br />October 16 - Davidson Mesa Work Day, 9 — noon. <br />October 28th — Evening walk on Davidson Mesa 6 pm — 8 pm <br />November 6th — Trail Reseeding day on Tamarisk & Davidson Mesa <br />Jeff Moline talked about plans for reseeding on the Daughenbaugh property. Prairie dogs <br />encroaching into private areas will have to be removed. <br />The Davidson Mesa will also need reseeding and possible prairie dog removal. <br />• The City is spraying to control weeds along Cherry. <br />• <br />Jeff Moline checked on the number of Geo- Cashing sites in Louisville online and found <br />that several were located on open space. He will contact them to remind them that they <br />need permission to locate cashes on open space lands. <br />Public comment on items not on agenda <br />None. <br />Agenda items <br />Historic Grant Letter: The Board reviewed the Historic Grant Support Letter for the <br />Harney - Lastoka Property. All members approved the letter. <br />Open Space Rules and Regulations <br />The Police Department reviewed the document and had a few edits: <br />The Police do not like the Davidson Mesa dog off leash area. People unleash their dogs <br />before they get to the designated off leash area and don't re -leash them after they leave. <br />They suggest inclosing the area with fence so that people know the boundary of the off <br />leash zone. <br />Section T: "The building and maintaining of private paths on City Open Space is <br />expressly prohibited by this section. <br />
