• <br />Louisville Open Space Citizens Advisory Board Meeting <br />7:00 p.m. <br />Wednesday, December 15, 2004 <br />Louisville Public Library <br />Louisville, CO 80027 <br />Attendance: Bob Muckle, Patrick Hornbostel, John Carron, Mike Gheleta, Gary <br />Mansdorfer, Heidi Ochis, Cary Tengler, and Wayne Varra.. <br />Also in attendance: Jeff Moline, .City of Louisville Staff <br />Bob Muckle called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />November 15, 2004 minutes passed. <br />Motions Passed <br />1. Cary Tengler moved that LOSCAB deny a request made to the City to allow propane <br />truck access across City of Louisville open space. Heidi Ochis seconded. Motion passed <br />6 -0 with 1 abstaining. <br />Public comment on items not on agenda <br />Doug Grinbergs mentioned the availability of the public access cable channel 54 as an <br />opportunity to get the word out on open space matters; the city, the board, and/or <br />interested citizens could help produce informative programs on open space issues. He <br />also expressed concern about the potential impact of 5,000 -6,000 additional residents on <br />the city's open space. <br />Updates from the Board <br />None. <br />Updates from Staff <br />Jeff Moline gave an update on the following City projects: <br />1. Davidson Mesa kiosks — Bid are in and Jeff was working on draft language <br />recognizing efforts of past LOSCAB board members. <br />2. Russian olive removal — Plans in place to remove Russian olives from Aquarius, <br />North, Davidson Mesa, and CTC by city staff. Lake Park is under contract with an <br />outside agency and some replanting may occur. John Canon recommended posting signs <br />notifying resident and users of the removal plans. <br />3. Prairie dog management — A new chicken wire fence will be installed on the <br />Warembourg property, the silt fence will be re- installed on Davidson Mesa, and trapping <br />
