• <br />• <br />Louisville Open Space Citizens Advisory Board Meeting <br />7:00 p.m. <br />Monday, June 21, 2004 <br />Louisville Public Library <br />950 Spruce <br />Louisville, CO 80027 <br />Attendance: Bob Muckle, John Carron, Mike Gheleta, Pat Hornbostel, Gary <br />Mansdorfer, Heidi Ochis, Cary Tengler <br />Also in attendance: Cindy Lair, Jeff Moline, Kathy Kron <br />Bob Muckle called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />April 19, 2004 and May 15, 2004 minutes were passed, 7 -0, with changes. <br />Motions and recommendations made during the June 21St meeting <br />1. Pat Hornbostel moved to pass minutes with changes. John Carron seconded. <br />Motion passed 7 -0. <br />2. John Canon moved that LOSCAB support as written the Harney - Lastoka Open <br />Space Management plan. Cary Tengler seconded. Motion passed 7 -0. <br />3. Gary Mansdorfer moved that LOSCAB recommend the approval of the <br />preliminary Open Space trail plans for Callahan and Davidson Mesa, with the <br />following conditions: <br />a. That the trail surfaces be constructed as delineated; <br />b. With the trail alignments as mapped, but with the proviso that a distance <br />of twenty (20) feet bemaintained from property lines where practical, and <br />excepting; <br />c. That the trail alignment in the northwest section of the Davidson Mesa <br />follow the description in the Louisville Open Space Master Plan (pg. 50.) <br />Heidi Ochis, seconded. Motion passed 7 -0. <br />Updates from Board <br />Bob Muckle asked about the proposed trail connection from the Coal Creek Trail to the <br />CTC. Cindy Lair and Jeff Moline commented that the trail connection had been <br />discussed, but that no action or plans had been confirmed. The issue will appear on the <br />July 19, 2004 agenda. <br />Bob Muckle noted that the re- vegetation around the Fishing is Fun pond looks good and <br />Cindy Lair noted that the 2nd planting had not been done yet. <br />
