• • Louisville Open Space Citizens Advisory Board Meeting 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2004 Louisville Public Library 950 Spruce Louisville, CO 80027 Attendance: Bob Muckle, John Carron, Mike Gheleta, Pat Hornbostel, Gary Mansdorfer, Heidi Ochis, Cary Tengler Also in attendance: Cindy Lair, Jeff Moline, Kathy Kron Bob Muckle called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. April 19, 2004 and May 15, 2004 minutes were passed, 7 -0, with changes. Motions and recommendations made during the June 21St meeting 1. Pat Hornbostel moved to pass minutes with changes. John Carron seconded. Motion passed 7 -0. 2. John Canon moved that LOSCAB support as written the Harney - Lastoka Open Space Management plan. Cary Tengler seconded. Motion passed 7 -0. 3. Gary Mansdorfer moved that LOSCAB recommend the approval of the preliminary Open Space trail plans for Callahan and Davidson Mesa, with the following conditions: a. That the trail surfaces be constructed as delineated; b. With the trail alignments as mapped, but with the proviso that a distance of twenty (20) feet bemaintained from property lines where practical, and excepting; c. That the trail alignment in the northwest section of the Davidson Mesa follow the description in the Louisville Open Space Master Plan (pg. 50.) Heidi Ochis, seconded. Motion passed 7 -0. Updates from Board Bob Muckle asked about the proposed trail connection from the Coal Creek Trail to the CTC. Cindy Lair and Jeff Moline commented that the trail connection had been discussed, but that no action or plans had been confirmed. The issue will appear on the July 19, 2004 agenda. Bob Muckle noted that the re- vegetation around the Fishing is Fun pond looks good and Cindy Lair noted that the 2nd planting had not been done yet.
