Louisville Open Space Citizens Advisory Board Meeting <br />7:00 p.m: <br />Monday, October 20, 2003 <br />Louisville Public Library <br />950 Spruce <br />Louisville, CO 80027 <br />Attendance: Matt Jones, Pat Hornbostel, Gary Mansdorfer, Bob Muckle, Heidi Ochis <br />Cary Tengler, Bill Van Orman <br />Also in attendance: Cindy Lair, City Staff <br />Matt Jones called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />Sept. 15, 2003 minutes were passed, 7 -0, with no changes. <br />None <br />Motions and recommendations made during the October 20th meeting <br />Updates from Board <br />Pat Hornbostel asked about the "no parking" notice near the Aquarius property. Cindy <br />Lair said the decision was made to enforce the no parking restriction because the area <br />was "an accident waiting to happen." <br />None. <br />Updates from Staff <br />Matters from Public not on the agenda <br />Jay Berger complimented the board on the long hours and hard work that have gone into <br />various projects like the inventory, open space management plan, and a variety of other <br />activities. He also agreed with Matt Jones re: the general abuse of open space and <br />encouraged the board and the city to make the best of a bad situation .(vis a vis the Water <br />Reclaim Project) and to aggressively restore to native, refence wherever necessary, and <br />remove undesignated social trails wherever they are found. <br />Agenda items <br />1. St. Louis Parish and Commercial Park Development Plan — Matt Jones said St. Louis <br />Parish asked to have this discussion postponed and rescheduled for a future meeting. <br />
