Louisville Open Space Citizens Advisory Board Meeting <br />7:00 p.m. <br />Monday, December 16, 2002 <br />Louisville Public Library <br />950 Spruce <br />Louisville, CO 80027 <br />Attendance: Pat Hornbostel, Matt Jones, Heidi Ochis, Bob Muckle, Wayne Varra, Bill <br />VanOrman, Cary Tengler <br />Also in attendance: Cindy Lair, Louisville City Staff <br />Invited Guests: <br />Rob Alexander and Mark Brennan from Boulder County, Tina <br />Jungwirth from Colorado Division of Wildlife, and Jim McKee, local <br />prairie dog expert. <br />Pat Hornbostel called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. <br />Minutes were passed with no corrections. <br />Motions and recommendations made during the December 16, 2002 meeting <br />1. Bob Muckle moved to pass minutes with corrections. Heidi Ochis seconded. <br />Motion passed 6 -0. <br />2. Bob Muckle moved that the board support Option B for the proposed Fence <br />Project on the Davidson Mesa, near the Ohmeda Corp. property. Wayne.Varra <br />seconded. Motion passed 6 -0. <br />3. Bob Muckle moved the board recommend the adoption in principle of the Boulder <br />Country Grassland Management Plan for Prairie Dog Habitat Element as a <br />component of the City of Louisville Open Space Master Plan with possible <br />modifications based on public input. Heidi Ochis seconded. Motion passed 7 -0. <br />Issues from Board not on the agenda <br />None. <br />Issues from Staff <br />Cindy Lair: <br />1. Suggested moving the January LOSCAB meeting to Tuesday, January 21, 2003, <br />instead of the normal "third Monday" to accommodate the Martin Luther King, Jr. <br />holiday. <br />
