Approval of Minutes <br />The minutes from the regular meeting held on October 6, 2005 were approved as <br />written. Motion to Accept: E. Toon. Second: M. Tepe <br />• <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda <br />No public comments <br />VI. Community Park <br />Theresa. Rounds presented her observations about the progress at the park. <br />She commented that the sprinkler system is being "tweaked "; that efforts are <br />being made to control foot traffic across the turf and planting areas; that the City <br />is working on the perennial plan; and the playground is almost finished. Theresa <br />commented that the park reflects a community effort with a diverse offering of <br />activities, and a diversity of tress and plants. <br />Theresa suggested that the Board should go on a tour of the Park (Board tour). <br />It was recommended that Chris Lichty should arrange for the tour and <br />present possible dates and times at the December meeting. <br />VII. Arboretum Planning — <br />(1) Results of the City Council Study Session <br />No discussion on this matter. <br />(2) City Council Meeting <br />A discussion was held about presenting the HFAB initiatives, <br />goals and objectives to the City Council. The Board <br />concurred that Susan Spaulding would represent the Board <br />and prepare a presentation with assistance from Board <br />members, Chris Lichty and Dave Clabots. She can use the <br />material prepared over the last year for her presentation. <br />It was decided by consensus to request Chris to inquire <br />as to when the first opportunity would be for the Board <br />to make the presentation at the City Council meeting, <br />preferably before the end of the year. Chris is to report <br />back at or before the December HFAB meeting as to a <br />date for the presentation.. <br />(3) Pergola <br />• No discussion about the Pergola <br />
