General <br />1. The meeting was called to order and October minutes were approved. <br />2. Discussed and voted on Open Space Parcels possible designations. <br />a. Via Appia Hillside- "other ". It is already partially landscaped and is part of the <br />City's Beautification Master Plan. <br />b. Ponderosa Subdivision entry- "other" There was a developer commitment to <br />landscape. Needs to be completed. <br />c. Lake Park- already de facto "other ". <br />d. Power Line Corridors- already "other" with landscaping being done by Excel. <br />e. Cherrywood- already de facto "other ". <br />f. Callaghan Corridor- "other ". Trail along railroad tracks already landscaped. <br />g. <br />Fishing is Fun Pond- need to refer to Warembourg landscape committee plans <br />from 2 years ago. Already landscaping with Cottonwoods around pond. <br />h. Rural entry on Dillon at 96th and/or farther east on Dillon. No recommendation at <br />this time as there will be future widening and right of way issues. <br />i. Highway 42 /Aquarius Trailhead- "other ". Parking lot should be designed as <br />"other ". Needs some landscaping as long as it pretty closely adheres to native <br />guidelines. Rest of property should be whatever open space wants. <br />Hecla Lake "other ". This designation in anticipation of possible future <br />development. <br />J• <br />3. Ariniello suggested our recommendations should not only go to Open Space, but also <br />copies to City Council and Planning Commission. Turner to summarize our <br />recommendations in a rough draft- to be sent to Ariniello for revision. <br />
