Revitalization Commission Minutes DATE Page 2 of 3 evening of May 11 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at the City Council Chambers. The Commission requested a representative from RTD/US 36 EIS Project Team be present at the meeting as well. A copy of a template for an Urban Renewal Plan was also distributed such that Commissioners could review the document and provide feedback on appropriate provisions specific to Louisville. 2. Discussion of May 1 '1 , 2006 LRC Joint Meeting with City Council and Planning Commission - Ann provided an administrative memorandum to the Commission providing an outline of the issues to be discussed at the May 11 meeting with the City Council and Planning Commission. Commission members requested that the number of issues for discussion be further refined and the topics be more generic in nature, also allowing for questions at the end of the session. Staff will get back to the LRC with a revised agenda. The LRC also requested that Ann Ricker and Paul Benedetti attend a meeting on May 4 with the LRC to provide a test run of the presentation for the May 11 meeting. There was also discussion that the Planning Commission and City Council possibly have ex-officio members on the LRC for informational purposes or look to revive the Highway 42 Steering Committee with a few members from the L1RC, City Council and Planning Commission. Next steps and ways to keep folks informed on urban renewal issues will be further discussed at the May 11 meeting. 3. Legislative Update - An update was provided by staff on potential legislation affecting urban renewal issues and TIF financing. 4.
