Louisville Historical Commission Meeting Minutes September 19, 2012 Louisville Public Library Meeting Room 951 Spruce Street 6:30 PM I. Call to order. The meeting was called to order at 7:20. Prior to that time the Commission attendance was short of a quorum and those in attendance listened to Louisville Planning Department staff member Sean McCartney give a status report on the City Comprehensive Plan. Members in attendance met the status report favorably. Discussion focused on the particular input the Historical Commission could make to the process by way of encouraging the inclusion of cultural and heritage plans. Sean indicated that it would be appropriate for the Commission to write a letter to the Planning Department regarding the plans for a new museum building. II. Roll Call. Commission Members Present: Dan Mellish, Anne Robinson, Dave Ferguson, Pat Seader, Lynn Koglin, Jennifer Strand Commission Members Absent: Andy Williams, Gladys Pilz, Sally Burlingame, Brian Chamberlin City Representatives Present: Frost Yarnell, City Council member Bridget Bacon, Museum Coordinator City Representative Absent: Beth Barrett, Directory of Library & Museum Services III. Approval of agenda. Members approved the agenda. IV. Presentation on City’s Comprehensive Plan – Sean McCartney, Louisville Planning Department – performed prior to call to order. V. Public comments: None. VI. Approval of meeting minutes. The following minutes were approved: August 15, 2012 regular meeting minutes; August 7, 2012 subcommittee meeting minutes; and August 28, 2012 subcommittee meeting minutes VII. Meeting as Advisory Board for the City of Louisville A. Report from the Director of Library & Museum Services: Bridget handed out information from Beth about the Library’s “On the Same Page” book and programming. B. Report from the Museum Coordinator
