I: Revitialization Commission Meeting Minutes March 17, 2006 City Hall, Council Chambers 749 Main Street 7:30 AM City of Louisville Call to Order Chairperson Sisk called the meeting to order at 7:30 AM Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: Board Members Present: Mayor Sisk, Clair Beckmann, Rob Lathrop, Michael Reis, Bob Tofte Staff Members Present: William Simmons, Heather Balser, Paul Wood, Sam Light (excused at 8:20 a.m.) Approval of Agenda The agenda was approved by all members. Approval of Meeting Minutes The minutes from the February 16, 2006 meeting were approved as written. Public Comments Resident and property owner Michael Deborski raised concerns about the conditions survey and certain conditions noted on his property in the study. He requested those conditions be removed due to recent upgrades to the property. It was noted by the Commissioners that at the April 14, 2005 LRC meeting a motion was made to recommend approval of the Conditions Survey within the current boundaries, in addition to including the northern part of the Schempp property for analysis. The LRC also recommended at the April 14 meeting that the text of the document remains as is (beyond changes relative to the Schempp property) without changes to specific conditions cited in the document. It was noted that the Commission's action forwarded the Survey in the form then presented to City Council, which will hold a hearing regarding the Survey and Plan. Further, the LRC Attorney noted that once the formal public hearing process begins for the Conditions Survey and the Urban Renewal Plan individuals will have additional opportunity to provide input on both the Survey and the Plan. Reports of Commission Mayor Sisk noted that Clair Beckmann was recently honored as Woman of the Year by the YMCA.
