<br />City Council <br />Study Session Summary <br />March 8, 2005 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br /> <br />City Manaaer Items <br />Memory Square Playground Equipment - design will begin in spring, <br />2005, with construction to begin after Labor Day. <br />City Hall Remodel - Architect Greg McMenamin will attend the May 10 <br />study session to present the schematic drawings for the City Hall remodel <br />and answer questions the Council may have. Staff will work on budget <br />estimates for the project. <br />- Via Appia Enhanced Pedestrian Crosswalk Update - Staff recommended <br />that the crosswalk be installed as presented at the April 5 City Council <br />meeting. If modifications to the project such as raised crosswalks are to <br />be incorporated, they will be included with future street repaving work. <br />- The City Manager noted that staff has had discussions with City of <br />Lafayette staff on three items including the McStain development <br />bordering Louisville's north city limit, with a possible connection with <br />Lafayette via Pasquale Street; a potential affordable housing development <br />on South Boulder Road, just east of Louisville's city limit with a possible <br />street connection; and the purchase by Lafayette of a water tap for their <br />cemetery use. <br />- The advance agenda and meeting schedule were distributed and <br />reviewed. <br /> <br />Adiournment <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Prepared by Julie Boyd <br />
