City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 20, 2012 <br />Page 3 of 15 <br />the Coal Creek Golf Course staff to discuss the Pac 12 Cross Country Championships. <br />The City and the Coal Creek Golf Course will host the Pac 12 Cross Country event in <br />November of 2013. <br />Julie Manning, Associate Athletic Director for the University of Colorado, stated this <br />partnership is a wonderful opportunity for the City of Louisville and the Men's and <br />Women's Pac 12 Cross County Teams. The event is scheduled for Saturday, <br />November 2, 2013. <br />Parks and Recreation Director Stevens explained this has been an eighteen -month <br />planning process for the event. Coal Creek Golf Course will be closed for three days, <br />however it is a wonderful opportunity for the City of Louisville as those who attend the <br />event will stay in Louisville hotels, eat at local restaurants and shop throughout the City. <br />He thanked former Mayor Sisk for bringing this opportunity to the City. <br />Peter Stewart, 1132 Jefferson Avenue, Louisville, CO commented on the Daily Camera <br />article relative to Alan Sobel. He noted there was quote about the issues brought <br />forward by Mr. Sobel were non - issues. He stated those items were important because <br />they dealt with maintenance of franchise agreements and advocacy for public interests. <br />APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />Mayor Muckle called for changes to the consent agenda and hearing none, moved to <br />approve the consent agenda, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Dalton.
