City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> December 4, 2012 <br /> Page 2 of 16 <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> Alan Sobel, 1408 Kennedy, Louisville, CO noted the City's franchise agreement for <br /> cable television service will expire this spring. He inquired when the City Council would <br /> begin the negotiation process. He stated many residents are cable television <br /> subscribers and would be interested in participating in the process. <br /> APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA <br /> Mayor Muckle called for changes to the consent agenda and hearing none, moved to <br /> approve the consent agenda, seconded by Council member Jasiak. All were in favor. <br /> Absent: Council member Sackett. <br /> A. Approval of Bills <br /> B. Approval of November 20, 26 and 27, 2012 Minutes <br /> C. Approval Cancellation of December 25 City Council Study Session <br /> D. Approval of January 2013 City Council Meeting Schedule <br /> COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br /> AGENDA <br /> Council member Keany invited the public to come downtown Louisville on Friday <br /> evening for the Parade of Lights. Council member Jasiak invited the public to shop <br /> anytime downtown for Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers. <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Dalton suggested the City Council conduct a study session in January <br /> to discuss the actual negotiation process for the renewal of the cable television <br /> franchise agreement. <br /> Mayor Muckle congratulated the Monarch High Football team for winning the state <br /> championship in their division. Council member Loo congratulated Monarch High <br /> School's Girls Cross-County Lacrosse team, who took second place in the state for the <br /> second time in a row. <br /> Mayor Muckle concurred with Mayor Pro Tem Dalton's suggestion to conduct a study <br /> session prior to the franchise agreement public meetings. <br /> CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> No items to report. <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS <br />
