Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />October 15, 2012 <br />Page 7of 8 <br />Committee Reports –CLG Training <br />Stewart stated he attended a training session in Aurora. <br />There was discussion about the Outreach Committee. It was determined a packet <br />needed to be created for commercial business owners to advertise the importance of <br />the grant program. <br />Update on Demolition Requests –612 Lincoln <br />612 Lincoln <br />Lewis stated she does not have any updates but she will check back with the owners. <br />The last discussions she had was to try and preserve some portions of the structure, <br />primarily the street facing portion. <br />1524 Main St <br />Robinson stated the owner was interested in removing the siding. A subcommittee <br />reviewed the project and signed off on the permit. <br />631 Johnson <br />Robinson reminded the HPC this applicant had come forward as a pre filing conference <br />a few months back. The subcommittee released this application. <br />Updates – <br />Reconnaissance Survey RFP/Austin-Niehoff HSA <br />Reconnissance Survey <br />Robinson stated Phil Barlow was chosen to complete the survey. <br />Austin Niehoff <br />Robinson stated the project will be completed soon. <br />Items from Staff– <br />Landmark Application Packet <br />Robinson presentedamemo and stated he would like the HPC to review the <br />information in the packet to see if there are any items that need to be added or deleted <br />from the packet. <br />Stewart stated he would like to see more reference to commercial properties. He <br />recommended the HPC review the packet and bring comments back at the next <br />meeting. <br />Lewis stated FAR should be removed from the Lot Coverage column of the <br />Preservation/Landmark Bonus table. <br />Items from Commission Members – <br />Koertje was asked if 728 MainStreet was going to submit anapplication for landmark. <br />Robinson stated he had a meeting with them a few months back but hasn’t heard <br />anything since then. <br />
