The subcommittee did not believe this <br />structure was eligible for landmarking due to lack of architectural significance. <br />Grain Elevator Shed <br />Robinson stated the shed on theGrain Elevator has been put on hold until the landmark <br />request has been decided. The subcommittee did release the permit but the City has <br />decided to wait until the landmark discussion is completed. <br />Discussion ensued about the subcommittee process and whether it is working or not, <br />especially on full demolitions. It was determined everything appeared to be going fine. <br />Updates – <br />Reconnaissance Survey RFP/Austin-Niehoff HSA <br />Reconnissance Survey <br />Robinson stated the contract was signed and staff has scheduleda kick-off meeting <br />with the contractor and the SHPO representative. <br />Austin Niehoff <br />Robinson stated staff has a draft and will be finalizing that project soon. <br />Jefferson Place <br />Robinson stated the draft should be completed soon and the project should be wrapped <br />up in April. <br />Meeting date reminders: January 14, February 11, February 26 (joint City Council study <br />session) <br />Robinson gave update on these dates. <br />Items from Staff– <br />CPI Conference <br />Robinsonstated the State is giving $200 for registration fees and the City has a budget <br />for registration as well. He added he is taking part on a panel discussion at the CPI <br />conference. <br />Fasick stated she is attending the conference but the County is paying for it. <br />Lewis stated she would like to attend. <br />Items from Commission Members – <br />Fasick stated there appear to be a lot of landmarks in the 1000 and 1100 Block of <br />Jefferson. She wondered why. <br />
