Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December 17, 2012 <br />Page 7 of 9 <br />The commission agreed to make La Grave the liaison. <br />Fasick asked staff to check if anyone on the LRC wouldbe interested in attending the <br />CPI conference, paid for through the HPC. <br />Robinson stated there are State funds and City funds that could be used. <br />Committee Reports – Outreach Committee <br />La Grave stated he did some outreach with Exempla Good Samaritan, and realized they <br />were outside of the City Boundaries. He asked to continue this item to next meeting. <br />Robinson stated there is $7,500 approved in the 2013 budget. <br />La Grave is going to create a list of what he believes can be achieved for the approved <br />budget amount. <br />Lewis stated she is interested in creating a workshop for the Commercial business in <br />downtown. She stated it would be best to have the loan program figured out before <br />such a workshop. <br />Stewart recommended an outreach package for the downtown owners. <br />Lewis stated a goal should be set for a specific month, such as October, the goals could <br />be achieved. She asked to have this item on the next meeting agenda. <br />Update on Demolition Requests – <br />th <br />96and Dillon <br />Robinson stated there are two separate homes on this site. The subcommittee met and <br />decided to release them due to lack of architectural significance. The subcommittee <br />asked for an outbuilding, shed, to be reused. <br />Stewart asked if this was the property where an archaeological walk through would <br />needto take place. <br />Robinson stated he spoke with Anne Robinson and is awaiting a scheduled time to visit <br />the site. <br />817 Garfield <br />Robinson stated the subcommittee released the porch addition. <br />620 Garfield <br />Robinson stated the subcommittee released the request toreplace the windows. <br />
