Louisville Historical Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />October 17, 2012 <br />Louisville Public Library Meeting Room <br />951 Spruce Street <br />6:30 PM <br />I. Call to order. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. when a quorum was achieved. <br />II. Roll Call. <br />Commission Members Present: Dan Mellish, Brian Chamberlin, David Ferguson, Anne <br />Robinson, Lynn Koglin, Jennifer Strand. <br />Commission Members Absent: Andy Williams, Gladys Pilz, Pat Seader, Sally <br />Burlingame <br />City Representatives Present: Frost Yarnell, Bridget Bacon, Beth Barrett <br />III. Approval of agenda. Members approved the agenda. <br />IV. Public comments. There were no public comments <br />V. Approval of September 19, 2012 meeting minutes – <br />postponed to next meeting <br />VI. Meeting as Advisory Board for the City of Louisville <br />A. Report from the Director of Library & Museum Services. Beth Barrett provided <br />an update on library programming and the 2013 budget, which she hopes will include <br />funding to add meeting broadcast capabilities. <br />B. Report from the Museum Coordinator <br />1. Approval of Deeds of Gifts from donors. The Commission voted to accept the <br />following donations into the museum’s collection: <br />a. From Arlene Leggett, Louisville street signs. <br />b. From Patricia Bradfield (granddaughter of Victor Helburg the Assistant <br />Marshall killed in 1915 while conducting city business), family history <br />information and scans of photos and documents. <br />c. From Patty Lester, photos of the Louisville Fire Department from the <br />1950s. <br />2. Advice sought on donations of other artifacts being offered. None. <br />3. Questions regarding Museum Coordinator’s written report.
