He voiced his <br />appreciation to the Boulder County Commissioners, and the City of Lafayette. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that it is a key purchase and represents what neighboring communities <br />can do when they work together. <br /> <br />Mayer stated that he appreciates the Boulder County Commissioners support in the Open <br />Space acquisition. He stated that it is important to be cooperative with the County. <br /> <br />MOTION: Howard moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1372, Series 2001, <br />seconded by Brown. Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 6-0. <br />Levihn excused. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 55, SERIES 2001 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br />PURCHASE CONTRACT TO BUY AND SELL VACANT REAL ESTATE AND <br />AN AGREEMENT TO EXCHANGE RECIPROCAL CONSERVATION <br />EASEMENTS <br /> <br />MOTION: Sisk moved that Council approve Resolution No. 55, Series 2001, seconded <br />by Howard. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote of 6-0. Levihn <br />excused. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 56, SERIES 2001 - AMENDMENT OF THE 2001 BUDGET <br />FOR TRANSFER OF FUNDS AND PURCHASE OF OPEN SPACE <br /> <br />Davidson called for Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Finance Director Dianne Ray reviewed Ordinance No. 1372, Series 2001, which <br />authorizes payment for purchase of land for open space. Through Resolution No. 56, <br />Series 2001, an interfund transfer will be appropriated in the amount of $342,000 from <br />the General Fund to the Conservation Trust-Land Acquisition Fund for funding in excess <br />of the available appropriated amount. This resolution will also appropriate the additional <br />funds from the Conservation Trust-Land Acquisition Fund for purchase of the open <br />space. <br /> <br />Keany stated that he was pleased to see the transfer from the General Fund to the Open <br />Space Conservation Trust-Land Acquisition Fund. He noted that it will be easier to track <br />the open space purchases. <br /> <br />MOTION: Brown moved that Council approve Resolution No. 56, Series 2001, <br />seconded by Howard.
