<br />Gambon. Unanimously approved. Ken Gambon was nominated as Chairperson <br />by Tom Deany, seconded by Perry Nelson. Unanimously approved. <br />Item. Public Comments. None <br />VI <br />ItemDistribution of 2013 Open Government Pamphlet.The attention of <br />VII. <br />the Board was drawn to the Pamphlet on Open Government Policy included in <br />the meeting packet. Other than limited one-on-one discussions, all Board <br />Business must be conducted in a Public Environment as defined in the pamphlet <br />Item Discussion on Posting Notices of GCAB Business. Meetings are <br />VIII. <br />normally scheduled for the third Monday of each month and held at the Library <br />meeting room on the first floor starting at 6:30PM unless otherwise posted All <br />meeting notices and any changes to the normal schedule will be posted by City <br />staff at: City Hall, Recreation / Senior Center, Library, Police Department / Court <br />Building and on the City web site (www.Louisvilleco.gov) In addition, WGP <br />undertook to post such notices in the Clubhouse for viewing by the golfing <br />community. <br />Item IX. Staff Update <br />a. Booster pump. The pump has been delivered and is ready to install. <br />b. Clubhouse renovation. 7 Bids have been received and Staff will present the <br />selected bid to Council for award of contract at the January 22 Meeting. <br />Contract is for around $200K plus a 10% contingency. This includes all ADA <br />work and essential maintenance.WGP will work with Staff to define and fund <br />any décor or furnishing requirements. <br />c. The 2013 budget for golf course includes $125K for bunker renovation on <br />holes 2 through 5 with priority on greenside bunkers. An RFP has been sent <br />to potential contractors. <br />d. The City has approved a total golf course budget for 2013 of $289K plus a <br />$41K carry over from 2012 due to lower than budgeted costs for tree removal <br />and replanting (this included all work scheduled for 2012 and 2013.) Any <br />funds remaining after the clubhouse and bunker work will be used to <br />purchase more sprinkler heads for preventive maintenance All new sprinkler <br />heads purchased in 2012 are installed and 90% of the updated sprinkler data <br />has been entered in the City GPS database . A motion to approve use of the <br />2013 budget per this plan was proposed by Tom Deany and seconded by <br />Lisa Norgard. Unanimously approved <br />e. Staff has sent a request to Avista requesting the use of their parking lot for <br />the potential sledding hill.
