A follow up meeting on the McCaslin and Washington underpass <br />project confirmed that underpass hardscaping is the highest <br />priority. Loris and Associates is working on bid package. <br />b. Have completed GIS mapping of all Rules & Regulation Signs. <br />Continuing to map all other permanent signs on Open Space <br />Properties. <br />c. 2013 Education programming available for review. <br />d. Temporary educational signs were posted at Warembourg and <br />North. Signs highlighted dog waste pick up and bicycle riding on <br />designated trail only. Signs were drafted in response to public calls <br />of concern at these locations within the past month. Signs at <br />Warembourg were taken down and thrown onto frozen lake. The <br />signs will be retrieved when it is safe to do so. <br />e. North Open Space Trail Project located near the bridge will be <br />included in the 2013 trail repair projects. The concrete trail will be <br />raised and drainage will be added to prevent pooling of mud and <br />water. <br />f. Davidson Mesa trail project – Allan Gill has planned for construction <br />to start in March and finish in April. The trail alignment will roughly <br />follow the current ridgeline social trail west of the dog off-leash <br />area. <br />VII. Board Updates <br />a. Reports of Coyotes in Coyote Run and on Warembourg along the <br />Goodhue ditch. <br />b. Mike asked if Louisville has policy on human-wildlife interactions. <br />Ember reported that currently there is not a Wildlife Policy. Staff <br />has started working on a rough draft of a Coyote Management <br />Plan. This project will need to be prioritized into the work plan for <br />City Staff and, if prioritized, reviewed by the Police Department and <br />the City Manager’s Office. Board requested an update as soon as <br />staff is ready with more polished rough draft. Staff is working on <br />the educational components and taking calls from the public. <br />VIII.
