Historical Commission Meeting Minutes January 16, 2013 Louisville Public Library Meeting Room 951 Spruce Street 6:30 p.m. I.Call to Order : LHC Chair Dan Mellish called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. II.Roll Call: Commission Members Present : Dan Mellish, Dave Ferguson, Pat Seader, Gladys Levis-Pilz, Lynn Koglin, Sally Burlingame, Anne Robinson, Andrew Williams, Paula Elrod, Marilyn Hunt City Representatives Present: Beth Barrett, Directory of Library & Museum Services Bridget Bacon, Museum Coordinator Frost Yarnell, City Councilliaison, for the Advisory Board part of the meeting; City Councilman Jay Keany was present for the Fundraising Board part of the meeting. Members of the Public Present: None New LHC members Paula Elrod and Marilyn Hunt were introduced and welcomed. Sally Burlingame, who is stepping down from the LHC after 8.5 years of service, was thanked. III.Approval of Agenda: Members approved the agenda. IV.Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: None V.Approval of Meeting Minutes: LHC members approved the minutes of the October 17, 2012 and December 5, 2012 meetings. VI.Meeting as Advisory Board for the City of Louisville A.Posting notices for 2013: LHC approved the Designation of Places for Posting of Notice of Public Meetings for 2013. B.The Open Government & Ethics Pamphlet was distributed with the meeting packet and duly noted. C.Meeting dates /locations for 2013: . were distributed with the meeting packet and approved D.Report from the Museum Coordinator: 1. The Commission voted to accept the following donations as presented by Bridget Bacon: a.From Craig Lawrence, drawings of the layout of the old Louisville High School from the 1930’s. b.From the Children’s Services Department at the Library, summer program binder photos and documents dating from the 1980s to the 2000s.
