She left the meeting at 11:00 p.m. <br />RESOLUTION No. 81, SERIES 2012 – A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2012 <br />BUDGET BY AMENDING APPROPRIATIONS IN THE GENERAL FUND, THE <br />MCCASLIN INTERCHANGE FUND, THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION FUND, THE <br />WATER UTILITY FUND, AND THE WASTEWATER UTILITY FUND AND ADJUSTING <br />BUDGETED REVENUE IN THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND – Public Hearing <br />Mayor Muckle opened the public hearing and requested a staff presentation. <br />Finance Director Watson explained Resolution No. 81, Series 2012 proposes minor <br />amendments, which are basically housekeeping items, to the City of Louisville’s 2012 <br />Operating & Capital Budget. These adjustments have beenrequested by the <br />departments and, in most cases, have been previously discussed with Council but have <br />not been formally incorporated into the City’s 2012 budget. <br />Mayor Muckle requested public comment and hearing none, closed the public hearing. <br />MOTION:Mayor Pro Tem Daltonmoved to approve Resolution No. 81, Series 2012, <br />seconded by Council memberKeany.Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a <br />vote of 6-0. Absent: Council member Jasiak. <br />RESOLUTION No. 82, SERIES 2012 – A RESOLUTION SETTING CERTAIN FEES, <br />RATES, AND CHARGES FOR THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO <br />Mayor Muckle requested a staff presentation. <br />Finance Director Watson explained Resolution No. 82, Series 2012 sets certain City <br />fees, rates, and charges for 2013. The majority of the fees, rates, and charges listed in <br />the resolution are the same as the fees, rates, and charges for 2012. However, there <br />are two significant changes: A 6% increase in water usage rates and a 4% increase in <br />sewer usage rates.A 6% utility rate increase will increase the minimum water billing for <br />each residentialaccount from $11.40 to $12.08. The residential sewer charge will <br />increase from $15.66to $16.29 per month. These increases were anticipated in the <br />2013 budget process. <br />Mayor Muckle explained the Council and the Water Committee have reviewed the water <br />and sewer rate increases. Mayor Pro Tem Dalton confirmed Council has reviewed the <br />water and sewer rate increases. <br />29 <br /> <br />
