Louisville City Council Meeting <br />December 4, 2001 <br />Page 19 <br /> <br />reflected in the appraisal under current professional standards. He stated that he did not <br />see a need for a change in the condition. <br /> <br />Pedersen voiced his confusion over the process and concern that the appraisal may not be <br />acceptable to the City. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that Staff and the Applicant can develop a process. He agreed with City <br />Attorney Light that the conditions accurately reflect Council's intentions. <br /> <br />Sisk stated that it was not the City's request to pay for multiple appraisals. He voiced his <br />request for an accurate appraisal. <br /> <br />VOTE: Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 6-0. Howard absent. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Manager Bill Simmons asked Public Works Director Tom Phare to review a recent <br />traffic study on the Highway 42 Connection. Phare stated that study establishes a criteria <br />that will be applied to cost list information for the reconnection of County Road. Staff <br />will report once the cost and criteria are available. <br /> <br />Mayer stated that he would like to see the study address the issue if the reconnection will <br />make a difference in bringing people to the downtown area. Phare would ask the <br />consultant to address the issue. <br /> <br />Brown agreed with Councilman Mayer. <br /> <br />Simmons reviewed the IGA approved on the Consent Agenda. He explained that the <br />County has been established as the Successor Entity to the Boulder County Recycling <br />and Composting Authority. He asked Council for direction on whether it should be an <br />elected official, staff member, or citizen. <br /> <br />Davidson suggested that the Resource Conservation Advisory Board should be asked to <br />designate one of their members. <br /> <br />Simmons noted that the work session scheduled for Tuesday, December 11, 2001, will <br />be a discussion of implementation of home rule. He announced that the City Attorney <br />would be in attendance. <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br /> <br />
