Louisville City Council Meeting <br />December 4, 2001 <br />Page 20 <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Mayer stated that if a Resource Conservation Advisory Board member is interested to <br />serving on the Boulder County Board, he would be happy to meet with them. <br /> <br />Sisk addressed the teen advisory board, proposed by Councilman Keany, and asked that <br />Council consider implementation of such a board. He stated there many local issues that <br />could be communicated with teenagers. <br /> <br />Brown reported that the City has been challenged in carrying the banner for the <br />Timberline Orchestra. It is a super conductor contest and Louisville has two <br />representatives, a Brown and a Louisville Elementary School Music Teacher. <br /> <br />Brown reported on a meeting with a consultant for the East County Arts Alive project. <br />Brown stated that he was very impressed by the consultant and he was well prepared and <br />knowledgeable. He stated that the committee will be meeting with the Mayor and City <br />Manager in terms of Intergovernmental Agreements. He stated that more positive reports <br />are forthcoming. <br /> <br />Davidson reported on the Mayor's Along the Turnpike Committee. He stated that they <br />will meet with the Governor on December 14, 2001 to discuss funding and the <br />environmental impact statement. He stated that they have met with the Executive <br />Director of CDOT and with the General Manager of RTD. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Mayer ~ye0:~t,h~ouncil adjoum (10:02 p.m.), seconded by Brown.
