<br />ORDINANCE NO. 1147 <br />SERIES 1994 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AKBNDING THE ZONING REGULATIONS CONTAINED IN <br />TITLE 17 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE, ESTABLISHING <br />AN SF-HD, SF-MD, SF-LD, SF-E AND SF-R ZONE DISTRICTS, <br />ESTABLISHING REQUIREMENTS APPLICABLE TO EACH SUCH ZONE <br />DISTRICT, AND AKBNDING VARIOUS PROVISIONS WITHIN TITLE 16 <br />AND TITLE 17 IN CONJUNCTION THEREWITH. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has chosen to initiate an amendment <br />to the zoning ordinance of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that creation of new zone <br />districts and the elimination of the availability of certain zone <br />districts for future zoning or rezonings is necessary and proper to <br />regulate the use of land wi thin the City consistent with the <br />purposes set forth in Chapter 17.04 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code and C.R.S. ~31-23-301 et sea., as amended; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all required notices and hearings on the zoning <br />amendments proposed by the City Council have been provided; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the proposed <br />amendments are necessary for the protection of the health, safety <br />and welfare. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />Section 1. Section 17.08.045 of Title 17 of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code, defining the term "building height," is hereby <br />repealed and reenacted to read as follows: <br /> <br />17.08.045 Building height. <br /> <br />"Building height" means the vertical distance <br />measured from grade to the highest point on the roof <br />surface. <br /> <br />Section 2. Section 17.08.205 of Title 17 of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code, defining the term "grade (ground level) ," is hereby <br />amended to read as follows (words to be deleted are stricken <br />through; words to be added are capitalized): <br /> <br />17.08.205 Grade (ground level). <br /> <br />"Grade (ground level)" means the average of the <br />finished grade lcvcl at thc ccnter of all wallo of thc <br />building or at the oenter of the structure SURFACE <br />ELEVATION MEASURED AT THE HIGHEST AND LOWEST EXTERIOR <br />CORNERS OF A STRUCTURE. <br /> <br />1 <br />
