ORDINANCE NO. 1147 SERIES 1994 AN ORDINANCE AKBNDING THE ZONING REGULATIONS CONTAINED IN TITLE 17 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE, ESTABLISHING AN SF-HD, SF-MD, SF-LD, SF-E AND SF-R ZONE DISTRICTS, ESTABLISHING REQUIREMENTS APPLICABLE TO EACH SUCH ZONE DISTRICT, AND AKBNDING VARIOUS PROVISIONS WITHIN TITLE 16 AND TITLE 17 IN CONJUNCTION THEREWITH. WHEREAS, the City Council has chosen to initiate an amendment to the zoning ordinance of the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that creation of new zone districts and the elimination of the availability of certain zone districts for future zoning or rezonings is necessary and proper to regulate the use of land wi thin the City consistent with the purposes set forth in Chapter 17.04 of the Louisville Municipal Code and C.R.S. ~31-23-301 et sea., as amended; and WHEREAS, all required notices and hearings on the zoning amendments proposed by the City Council have been provided; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the proposed amendments are necessary for the protection of the health, safety and welfare. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 1. Section 17.08.045 of Title 17 of the Louisville Municipal Code, defining the term "building height," is hereby repealed and reenacted to read as follows: 17.08.045 Building height. "Building height" means the vertical distance measured from grade to the highest point on the roof surface. Section 2. Section 17.08.205 of Title 17 of the Louisville Municipal Code, defining the term "grade (ground level) ," is hereby amended to read as follows (words to be deleted are stricken through; words to be added are capitalized): 17.08.205 Grade (ground level). "Grade (ground level)" means the average of the finished grade lcvcl at thc ccnter of all wallo of thc building or at the oenter of the structure SURFACE ELEVATION MEASURED AT THE HIGHEST AND LOWEST EXTERIOR CORNERS OF A STRUCTURE. 1
