<br />Section 3. Subsection M. of Section 17.12.010 of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows and <br />Section 17.12.010 is further amended by the addition of' new <br />subsections 0, P, Q, R, and S, and a concluding paragraph to follow <br />subsection S to read as follows (words to be deleted are stricken <br />through; words to be added appear in capital letters): <br /> <br />17.12.010 District categories. <br /> <br />M. Restricted Rural Residential R-RR. This district <br />is intended to provide very large lots of a rural <br />character for very limited single-family <br />development. The minimum lot size in this zone <br />shall be twcnty thousand squarc fcct ONE (1) ACRE, <br />however, there shall be no more than one <br />residential unit constructed upon any parcel of <br />less than five acres and no more than one unit per <br />five acres or portion thereof for parcels over five <br />acres. <br /> <br />O. SINGLE FAMILY LOW DENSITY SF-LD. THIS DISTRICT <br />PROVIDES FOR LOW DENSITY URBAN LOTS FOR USE BY <br />MEDIUM TO LARGER SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLINGS. <br /> <br />P. SINGLE FAMILY MEDIUM DENSITY SF-MD. THIS DISTRICT <br />PROVIDES FOR MEDIUM DENSITY URBAN LOTS FOR USE BY <br />AVERAGE SIZED SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLINGS. <br /> <br />Q. SINGLE FAMILY HIGH DENSITY SF-HD. THIS DISTRICT <br />PROVIDES FOR HIGH DENSITY URBAN LOTS FOR USE BY <br />SMALLER SIZED SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLINGS. <br /> <br />R. SINGLE FAMILY RURAL SF-R. THIS DISTRICT PROVIDES <br />AREAS OF LOW DENSITY SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLINGS IN A <br />RURAL SETTING AWAY FROM THE URBAN CORE. THERE <br />SHALL BE NO MORE THAN ONE RESIDENTIAL UNIT <br />CONSTRUCTED UPON ANY PARCEL OF LESS THAN TWO AND <br />ONE-HALF ACRES AND NO MORE THAN ONE UNIT PER TWO <br />AND ONE-HALF ACRES OR PORTION THEREOF FOR PARCELS <br />OVER FIVE ACRES. <br /> <br />S. SINGLE FAMILY ESTATE SF-E. THIS DISTRICT PROVIDES <br />LOW DENSITY ESTATE LOTS INTENDED FOR LARGER SINGLE- <br />FAMILY DWELLINGS COMMON IN SUBURBAN ESTATE <br />DEVELOPMENTS. <br /> <br />AFTER JUNE 2, 1994 (THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF ORDINANCE NO. <br />1147, SERIES 1994), NO LAND SHALL BE ZONED OR REZONED AS <br />A RURAL RESIDENTIAL R-R ZONE DISTRICT, A RESIDENTIAL <br />ESTATE R-E ZONE DISTRICT, OR A RESIDENTIAL LOW-DENSITY <br />R-L ZONE DISTRICT. <br /> <br />2 <br />
