<br />15.08.040 Violations and Penalties. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or <br />corporation to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, <br />move, improve, remove, convert or demolish, equip, use or <br />maintain any mechanical systems or equipment or cause or <br />permit the same to be done in violation of the provisions <br />of this chapter or the terms of the code adopted and <br />incorporated herein. Any person convicted of a violation <br />of any provision of this chapter or of the provisions of <br />the code adopted and incorporated herein shall be subject <br />to the penalty provided in Section 1.28.010. <br /> <br />Section 18. Section 15.08.050 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby repealed and reenacted to read as follows: <br /> <br />15.08.050 Appendices adopted. <br /> <br />Appendices <br />Code regarding <br />adopted. Section 15.12.010 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby repealed and reenacted to read as follows: <br /> <br />15.12.010 Adoption. <br /> <br />The Uniform Fire Code, 1991 Edition and the Uniform <br />Fire Code Standards, 1991 Edition, by the International <br />Conference of Building Officials, 5360 Workman Mill Road, <br />Whittier, California, 90601, and the Western Fire Chiefs <br />Association, 3602 Inland Empire Boulevard, Suite B-205, <br />Ontario, California, 91764, as published by the <br />International Fire Code Institute, 5360 Workman Mill <br />Road, Whittier, California, 90601, are hereby adopted by <br />reference thereto and incorporated into and made a part <br />of the Louisville Municipal Code. The purpose and <br />subject matter of the Uniform Fire Code and Standards <br />include minimum standards relating to the storage, <br />handling, and use of hazardous substances, materials and <br />devices, and providing greater safety and protection to <br />the public from conditions hazardous to life or property <br />in the occupancy of buildings or premises. Except as <br />otherwise provided herein, the Uniform Fire Code and <br />Standards are adopted in full, including the outline of <br />contents, index, and appendix. Any reference to the <br />Uniform Fire Code within this chapter shall be to the <br />1991 Edition of said Code. <br /> <br />Section 20.
