<br />15.16.060 Section 103(0) amended - Building drain. <br /> <br />Section 103(0) of the Uniform Plumbing Code shall be <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"The Building drain is that part of the lowest <br />piping of a drainage system which receives the discharge <br />from soil, waste and other drainage pipes inside the <br />walls of the building and conveys it to the building <br />sewer beginning five feet outside the building wall." <br /> <br />Section 28. Chapter 15.28 of the Louisville Municipal Code, <br />entitled "Construction and Renovation Standards for Nonresidential <br />Buildings", and consisting of Sections 15.28.010, 15.28.020 and <br />15.28.030, is hereby repealed in its entirety. Chapter 15.28 shall <br />be reserved for future use. <br /> <br />Section 29. Chapter 15.36 of the Louisville Municipal Code, <br />entitled "Residential Building Energy Conservation Standards", and <br />consisting of Sections 15.36.010, 15.36.011, 15.36.012, 15.36.013, <br />15.36.014 and 15.36.015, is hereby repealed in its entirety. <br />Chapter 15.36 shall be reserved for future use. <br /> <br />Section 30. Section 15.48.010 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code 1S hereby repealed and reenacted to read as follows: <br /> <br />15.48.010 Adoption. <br /> <br />The National Electric Code, 1993 Edition, published <br />by the National Fire Protection Association, Batterymarch <br />Park, Quincy, MA 02269 is hereby adopted by reference <br />thereto and incorporated into and made a part of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code. The purpose and subject <br />matter of the National Electric Code include minimum <br />regulations for the practical safeguarding of persons and <br />property form the hazards arising from the use of <br />electricity and minimum standards relating to the <br />installation of electrical conductors and equipment <br />within or on public and private buildings and other <br />structures, including mobile homes, recreational <br />vehicles, and floating dwelling units, and other premises <br />such as yards, carnivals, parking and other lots, and <br />industrial substations. Except as otherwise provided <br />herein, the National Electric Code is adopted in full, <br />including the outline of contents, index, and appendix <br />contained therein. Any reference to the National <br />Electric Code within this chapter shall be to the 1993 <br />Edition of said Code. <br /> <br />Section 31. Section 15.48.030 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows (words to be deleted are <br />stricken through; words to be added appear in capital letters): <br /> <br />13 <br />
