<br />trial, including, without limitation, pre-bite <br />or post-bite behavior indicative of <br />viciousness. The lack of evidence showing <br />instances of post-bite viciousness shall not <br />be sufficient to support a finding in favor of <br />release. Surrender of an animal by the owner <br />thereof to the animal control officer shall <br />not reI ieve or render the owner immune from <br />the decision of the court or from the fees and <br />fines which may result from a violation or <br />violations of this chapter. <br /> <br />F. Vicious animal reqistration required. <br /> <br />1. The owner of an animal found to be vicious, <br />and not ordered destroyed under subsection E. <br />shall, within ten (10) calendar days after the <br />date of the finding, register the animal with <br />the Department of Public Safety. <br /> <br />2. The owner shall notify the Department of <br />Public Safety within five (5) calendar days in <br />the event the vicious animal is lost, stolen, <br />otherwise missing or dies. <br /> <br />3. If the owner of a vicious animal transfers the <br />location or ownership of the animal and the <br />animal remains within the City, the owner <br />shall provide the Department of Public Safety <br />with the name, address and telephone number of <br />the new owner or location of the new secure <br />enclosure. The owner shall inform the new <br />owner that the animal has been found to be a <br />vicious animal and the new owner shall comply <br />wi th all of the requirements applicable to <br />owners of vicious animals in this section <br />within ten (10) calendar days of such <br />acquisition. <br /> <br />G. Requirements of vicious animal owners. Upon a <br />finding under subsection E. that an animal is a <br />vicious animal, and such animal is not ordered <br />destroyed, the owner shall comply with all of the <br />following requirements. Failure of the owner of an <br />animal found to be vicious under this section to <br />comply with the ownership requirements listed below <br />will result in the animal being impounded and <br />destroyed. <br /> <br />1. As soon as is reasonably possible after <br />release, but in no event less than twenty-four <br />(24) hours, the owner shall cause the vicious <br /> <br />4 <br />
